I captured Ethel on a road trip journey while visiting South Australia.
I found her wandering through Innes National Park, located at the southern tip of the Yorke Peninsula. I'd never seen an emu in the wild before, it was pretty magical.
I've named her Ethel after Ethel Wreck beach which is located nearby. I've since tried to capture emus in other parts of Australia, and they're just not this friendly or still.
The Yorke Peninsula boasts a wildly rugged terrain; I highly recommend a visit should you find yourself in that region.
