This outdoor area was part of a larger sourcing and design project for a lovely home in Hawthorn. It was a gorgeous outdoor space and it was a pleasure to be part of such a bold rework so that it spoke to its new dweller in a more connected way. I adore painted murals, they add to the home in a refined, unique and creative way.

BEFORE PHOTO- As you can see, the below colour palette sat on the warm side of the colour wheel and was not at all to my clients taste.

We chose a 3 x shades of blue that created a contrast alongside a grey and white. The muted blues allow the brighter blues to shine and take some focus.

Sourcing and design advice was also given via the pot and plants. I particularly love how the bronze – pots add warmth to this space. It’s created an eye-catching outdoor space that can be enjoyed from all aspects of the home.
