“The Seam Collection” is prominent Australian designer Adam Cornish’s first collection for Tait.
Tait is an Australian brand of outdoor furniture makers, well known for their premium outdoor furniture that celebrates the Australian outdoors in modern and contemporary ways. The Seam collection originated in the same way as a tailored garment. Creating a design method of cuts, folds and joins with sheet metal where a refined seam exists along the spine of each chair.

The Seam collection is designed for outdoor use. The collections suit a range of design purposes including hospitality, breakout, alfresco and balcony spaces. And with its super refined style works beautifully inside indoor – landscapes too.

The chair, stool and table are available with the option of either powder-coated stainless steel or a variation of finished timbers. In staying true to Tait’s ethos and design DNA, the collection has been designed and made to last a lifetime. The seam shell and tabletop are made from aluminium which is highly resilient with great corrosion resistance. The chair, stool and dining table legs are made from stainless steel also with great strength and corrosion resistance; the powder coat adds an additional barrier of corrosion resistance. Modified timbers have been selected for the timber leg option offering stability and decay resistance. The timber is finished with an advanced coating system giving UV, wind and water protection.
